Event Mandate

We were fortunate to partner with the wonderful team at Bonjour Québec on two exciting initiatives. As Rendez-vous Canada took place at the Edmonton Convention Centre, our team planned and produced their off-site reception, sourcing a nearby venue within easy walking distance.

We also had the opportunity to bring their brand to life internationally, designing and delivering a custom activation in San Sebastián, Spain, for the TBEX Conference.

Key Event Objectives

  • Highlighting Québec’s distinctive strengths—its access to nature, rich culinary tourism, European-inspired charm, the St. Lawrence River and Saguenay Fjord, the province’s French language and heritage, and its vibrant festivals and events.
  • Demonstrating Quebec’s creativity and its renowned warm hospitality.
  • Celebrating and sharing Quebec’s authentic local flavours
  • Showcasing their commitment to sustainability and the concrete steps they’re taking to become a more responsible destination.
  • Promoting the Bonjour Québec brand, its core pillars, and their signature experiences through a unique, creative concept that all guests could enjoy.

The Experience

Event Concept

Both Bonjour Québec events were designed around the spirit of Joie de Vivre. Born from French heritage, this sentiment is often seen as a concept elsewhere, but in Québec it’s truly a state of mind—one they are eager and proud to share. The event embodied this outlook through food, wine, friendship, and laughter, alongside a celebration of Québec’s vibrant art, culture, language, music, natural beauty, and festivals.

Event Highlights

A self-serve champagne canoe installation set the tone from the moment guests arrived, leading them into an event filled with incredible Québécois food stations, specialty wines, and crafted mocktails. Oversized BONJOUR letters created a warm welcome, served as a visual focal point, and quickly became a favourite group photo backdrop.

Unique sponsor moments were woven throughout the space, including a Montreal-branded stage and DJ booth anchoring the urban festival zone.

Guest engagement was intentional: every design choice connected back to Québec’s 18 Discovery Routes, showcased through a fully decaled feature wall that offered both a memorable photo opportunity and strong brand presence.

Guests were guided through three themed areas—Forestière, Route-de-Saveurs, and Espace Villes et Festivités—each marked with signage inspired by the real Quebec Discovery Route wayfinding, creating an immersive journey through Québec’s diverse experiences
