Foundry Events brought us on to design the 2024 EO One Conference through the lens of its “True Grit” theme—crafting a room and production design that immersed guests in a “Bring your wild to the West” vibe. With the creative direction and brand identity already established, our role was to design the layout, stage and room setting to bring the space to life, creating an environment that supported both meaningful networking and impactful conference programming.

Strategic Goals
The space needed to mirror the established brand identity while supporting mixed seating for conference sessions, presentations and meal service. Strong branding throughout ensured a cohesive “celebrate the grind” atmosphere, with the room and stage design reinforcing the event’s purpose: driving transformational growth and empowering entrepreneurs.
Creative Design Highlights
- A striking stage backdrop was custom designed to anchor the room.
- “True Grit” die-cut decals on the conference room doors evoked the feel of classic Western saloon doors.
- Intelligent lighting design warmed the space and reinforced a modern Western-inspired atmosphere.
- A blend of upscale mountain-lodge textures—wood, cowhide, leather, string bulbs—contrasted bold contemporary elements such as strong typography, colour accents, textured lighting, and statement prints.
- A serene, spa-inspired lounge offering attendees a place to “rejuvenate from the grit,” complete with sound baths, vitamin boost sessions, yoga space, cozy lounge areas, and curated books and treats.
